When and Where
The Crest Data Summit will reach the shores of Charleston, South Carolina this September 10-12, 2024!
Join us as we kick off the biggest wave of the year with a sunset welcome reception on Tuesday, September 10. Full-day sessions will take off the mornings of Wednesday and Thursday, with a special social event planned for Wednesday evening.
Pre-summit sessions to learn how to surf the swell will occur the afternoon of Tuesday the tenth. These sessions are designed for those new to the worlds of data, analytics, and donation.

Our Mission
Crest will equip participants with an investigative toolkit to interpret data, discover root causes, uncover opportunities, and drive change in our organizations, while engaging with a rich community of data enthusiasts with diverse levels of expertise.
Our History
The 2018 Elevate Data Summit represented a shift in how we managed, utilized, and shared data to drive performance in our OPOs. Since its conclusion, the calls to pick up where we left off have been growing louder. The feedback from Elevate and subsequent interactions within our data community has been clear: coming together as a group, in-person, is the best way to recreate that amazing synergy we had in Winter Park.
Agenda
We will leverage the data community we’ve already built to introduce a series of interactive pre-Crest activities called Shoaling Sessions, which will include a guided instructional component for the first half of the sessions, then reserve the latter half for the show and share/community building that is characteristic of our current meetings. A few featured topics from the lineup include:
- Boil the Ocean: Understanding key business aspects needed for strong analysis & data science
- Bric a Brackish: Obtaining & Integrating Ancillary data sets for real-time and retrospective uses
- A Metal Detector Won't Find a Diamond: Selecting the right analytics, visualization, and integration to find the right treasure
- Same Wavelength: Examining & Normalizing Disparate Datasets
- Shaping the Shoreline: Strategies to change your organization through applied analytics
These seven educational sessions will occur between February – August and will equip our data community with the skills and tools needed ahead of time, culminating in the biggest wave of the year: an interactive, in-person Data Summit in Charleston, SC. Sessions will guide participants through developing an investigative dashboard and explore strategies for finding treasure beneath the sand. Don’t miss this long-awaited sequel to the 2018 Elevate Data Summit, sure to appeal to beginners and advanced analysts alike!
